Grandmother Juniper

Juniper is the Grandmother of both the people and the plants.  She holds the land steady in her ancient embrace, her roots reaching down through soil and bedrock to sip the sweet cool waters that flow beneath the earth’s surface.  Juniper is a plant who knows just how to hold you — the way your grandmother held you, or perhaps how you wish she’d been able to but wasn’t. When you are weak, you can go to her and take solace in the quiet wisdom of her embrace.
